On the logistical level, in the early 2000s I was invited by a wonderful woman named Mary Grant to come to Ireland to provide music for an extraordinary workshop she was doing in an old stone monastery in the north of Ireland. Mary had been a nun in Ireland for 22 years and was stationed in Belfast all through the ‘time of the troubles.’ She then followed her guidance to leave the convent and to become a psychotherapist. She has helped many beautiful souls to heal trauma and to return to themselves. It was an honor and a privilege to provide the music for a group that was formed for this intention. I began to work a bit in Belfast with small groups and also with individuals, a great and wonderful blessing to meet and know these extraordinary Irish people.

Each time I would go over, so many Americans would approach me saying how much they wanted to visit Ireland.  Eventually I felt that this was a message for me to begin to bring people home to the sacred lands, to act as a kind of an emissary or ‘go-between.’ Thus my company Emerald Fire Journeys was formed. This upcoming journey would be my 5th guided journey home to the Heart of the World. The Spirit of the Irish people are truly and deeply hospitable and gracious. I am delighted to speak with all sincerely interested people, to share stories, information and to answer questions about these journeys, they are unlike any other. I seek to provide a true and deep opportunity to become acquainted with this land and the Beauty that dwells therein.
